CloudMagic adds Google Calendar support

Chirag

Hi,

You have always loved the blazing search speed of CloudMagic. As one user puts – How can I forget the myriad hours I have saved [searching] with CloudMagic? We have been continually adding new online services under CloudMagic. With every new service added, not only are you saving more time but also reaching the data easily.

Easy & fast access to data = less frustration = more productivity!

Although there are tens of services to be indexed, what our users missed the most was Calendar. Today, we are happy to announce the support for Google Calendar. Whether it is “important meeting with your client” or “date with your partner”, you don’t need to juggle between tabs or wait for minutes for the results. Its there right in your CloudMagic – fast, easy & integrated (works offline too) search for your online data. With the addition of Calendar we have covered most of the widely used Google Cloud services. Listed below are the supported Google & Google Apps account services:

  • Emails
  • Contacts
  • Calendar
  • Documents
  • Spreadsheet
  • Presentation
  • Form

CloudMagic Calendar Search

We are excited about this release & would love to have your feedback. Twitter support is coming next.

Cheers,
Team CloudMagic

How can I search by date? That would be great!

@smu,

The current implementation of CloudMagic does not support search by date feature. This feature is our top priority. We will implement this feature in our future release of CloudMagic. We will keep you updated about the same.

Please remove case sensitivity for search query.

Hi drfisher,

The current implementation of CloudMagic supports case-insensitive comparisons of ASCII characters only. We do have plans to support non-ASCII character search once our priority features have been implemented. We are currently working on Twitter and Facebook support. We will keep you updated about our plans for this feature.

Dave,

Thanks for your feedback. Evernote support is in our wishlist. We will decide the priorities once we are done with Twitter.

Cheers,

Chirag

great stuff, cant wait for the twitter support! im currently copy and pasting my tweets into evernote every month or so, so i can search and find links i posted up, but being able to search with cloudmagic will be miles easier.

actually, did you know evernote is having a developer contest? incase you want to make a quick few thousand. would love to see some integration with evernote, like having the index searchable from within evernote.

Yay! But my test search shows only *future* calendar events!? Past ones can be just as important to me for valuable recorded information.

Am I missing something (aside from my past calendar search results)?

@David Phillips

Our next release will support searching past events.
